About the role
As a Food & Beverage Assistant you will be part of the team that looks after guests in The WinePress Restaurant, the bar and our events spaces. From breakfast service to private dinners and weddings, you will help make every visit to Britain’s oldest hotel feel warm, relaxed and memorable.
What you will do
- Welcome guests and serve food and drinks to a high standard across the restaurant and bar
- Set up and clear for breakfast, lunch, dinner and private events
- Build a confident knowledge of our menus, wines and allergen information
- Work closely with the kitchen and events teams so service runs smoothly
- Keep work areas clean, safe and ready for the next service
What we are looking for
- A friendly, positive manner and pride in looking after people
- Restaurant or bar experience is welcome but not essential, as full training is provided
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends
- A team player who stays calm when service is busy
