Luxury romance
A chilled bottle of prosecco and a box of luxury chocolates awaiting your arrival, a thoughtful touch for anniversaries, celebrations and time away together.
This iconic suite is named after Queen Elizabeth I, who is believed to have stayed at the Maids Head during her visit to the city in 1587. Solid exposed beams run throughout the spacious lounge and bedroom, with a feature headboard and 16th-century furniture adding character. The wallpaper reflects Queen Elizabeth's love of chess, while the bathroom's hand-painted tiles carry a warm red Elizabethan pattern. A roll-top bath sits within the room, with a large bathroom offering a walk-in shower.
When booking online, please request the suite you'd like to reserve and our team will check availability and confirm your request. Kindly note, extra tall guests may find the low beams in this room a challenge.
On-site parking spaces for residents (first come) from £10 overnight, we’ll validate at reception. Additional public parking at St Andrew's car park, an 8 minute walk.
Kindly note, extra tall guests may find the low beams in this room a challenge. Please mention any requirements when booking so we can recommend the right room.
